With its imposing terra cotta facade, the Pavilion Theatre of Varieties was designed by Bertie Crewe in the grand manner for Thomas Barrasford. Little altered and virtually unspoilt since its inception, the seating capacity of 1449 is made up of 677 stalls, 341 circle, 413 balcony and 18 box seats.
The Pavilion theatre boasts, warm friendly surroundings with easy access to the stage. There are currently twelve dressing rooms, two with en-suite facilities. Some of the greatest performers in show business have played here including Sydney Devine, hypnotist Robert Halpern and Billy Connolly.
The Pavilion Theatre has been giving Glaswegians a laugh for almost 100 years. It has recived 'Glasgows Favourite Business 2002 award' This award recognises the Pavilion's unstinting enthusiasm for good old fashioned entertainment. - Find Cheap Theatre Tickets
